Halloween, music, playlist, Halloween playlist, Halloween music

In case you are just stumbling across my blog for the first time, or miraculously haven’t picked up on it yet (although I’m not sure how you could miss it if you’ve been around here much) – I LOVE Halloween! I don’t just enjoy it, or like some ‘Halloween-themed’ things, I love ALL things Halloween!

Throughout the Christmas season we are entertained by all of our favourite Christmas music – traditional carols and modern remakes, instrumental and vocal arrangements. The music exists in all genres, but all our favourite artists. That’s one of the things I love most about the holiday. As a musician, I feel like every holiday should come with its own soundtrack, and Halloween is no different!

I started putting together a Halloween Playlist including a number of my favourite songs that make me think about everything Halloween related. At the time that this blog post is being written I have only added the first 15 songs to the list, however, it is going to continue to grow and evolve. Don’t be surprised if the embedded Spotify playlist is much longer than what I have listed here!

The first 15 tracks I added are:

  1. “I Put a Spell on You” – Nina Simone
  2. “Zombie” – The Cranberries
  3. “Deal with the Devil” – Pop Evil
  4. “Oogie Boogie’s Song” – Tiger Army
  5. “Feed my Frankenstein” – Alice Cooper
  6. “This is Halloween” – Marilyn Manson
  7. “Runnin’ with the Devil” – Van Halen
  8. “Dragula” – Rob Zombie
  9. “Thriller” – Michael Jackson
  10. “Kidnap the Sandy Claws” – Korn
  11. “Halloween” – Misfits
  12. “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” – Marilyn Manson
  13. “Highway to Hell” – AC/DC
  14. “Making Christmas” – Rise Against
  15. “Vampires” – Godsmack

Here is the Spotify playlist. While this is the first one that I have set up, there will be more coming down the road, so feel free to follow me on there to keep up to date with my latest favourite tracks!
